IB Mock collects minimal personal data. Account creation requires only an email address. Payment processing is handled by Stripe — we do not store card information on our servers. Voice interview functionality is powered by ElevenLabs, which stores interview recordings and transcripts associated with your sessions. For full details, see Section 1 of our Privacy Policy.

We process personal data under the following legal bases: contract performance (to provide the services you signed up for), legitimate interests (analytics, site improvement, fraud prevention), and consent (voluntary submissions such as community showcase participation). IB Mock is a US-based company. Some of our service providers (including Stripe, Google, ElevenLabs, and FullStory) process data in the United States. These providers maintain GDPR compliance through certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses. For full details, see Section 5 of our Privacy Policy.

If you reside in the EEA, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to processing of your personal data. Your personal data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your Account page. Upon deletion, account data is removed from IB Mock's database. Interview recordings and transcripts stored by our voice technology provider (ElevenLabs) are subject to ElevenLabs' own data retention and deletion policies. We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties. Data is shared only with service providers necessary to operate the platform (Stripe, Google Analytics, ElevenLabs), and only as needed to deliver their services. For full details, see Section 4 of our Privacy Policy.

When IB Mock provides services under a university or institutional partnership, IB Mock acts as a data processor on behalf of the partner institution (the data controller) and processes student data only as necessary to deliver the agreed-upon services.
